Sandra Ann Anderson, 81 of Lake Stevens, Washington, passed away on November 24, 2016.

She was born December 11, 1934 in Brampton, North Dakota to Roy and Blanche Steadman. While Sandra was still young the family moved to Britton, South Dakota. When she was 12 years old, the whole family boarded the train and relocated to Lake Stevens. Sandra was a graduate of Lake Stevens High School. Sandra Ann Anderson, 81 of Lake Stevens, Washington, passed away on November 24, 2016.

She was born December 11, 1934 in Brampton, North Dakota to Roy and Blanche Steadman. While Sandra was still young the family moved to Britton, South Dakota. When she was 12 years old, the whole family boarded the train and relocated to Lake Stevens. Sandra was a graduate of Lake Stevens High School. Sandra married Frederick William Anderson Jr in December of 1957. They had four children, Fred, Roy, Jay and Carol. They were married for over 57 years, he passed away in April of 2015. For many decades, Sandra was a faithful caregiver to her family, parents, extended family and friends. Sandra helped raise her grandson, Esa, getting him off-to-school and back each and every day.

Sandra was a devout longtime member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. She served as a Sunday School teacher to the pre-school age children for many years. She also spent much time at church volunteering in many other capacities. Sandra was a very loving, caring, kind, polite and thoughtful person. She always looked for ways to be helpful to others.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Roy and all of her siblings.

Sandra is survived by her loving family, 3 children, Fred (Robin) Anderson III of Lake Stevens; Jay Anderson (Dick Bigelow) of Marysville; Carol Anderson (Skipp Gallon) of Stanwood; and her grandson, Esa.

Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 2nd at American Legion Cemetery, Jordan Rd and Quarry Rd, Granite Falls, WA 98252.

Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, December 2nd at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 2111 117th Ave NE, Lake Stevens WA 98258. Potluck to follow.
