Robert "Bob" Eugene Miller passed away in Everett, Washington on March 30, 2015 in the company of his wife of 50 years, Debbie, and his two daughters, Betsy and Sandra. Bob was born in Whitman, Nebraska on December 6, 1936 to John and Vera Miller. He grew up in Alliance, NE. He was an Eagle Scout and co-captain of the 1955 Alliance H.S. state championship track team.

Bob went on to compete at the University of Nebraska his freshman year and then transferred to Kearney State University. There he received his degree in Education and continued his success in track, earning four letters. After graduating from college, he served in the US Army from 1960-1964. He met his future wife Debbie (Kyong Sik Sin) in 1963 while stationed in Seoul, Korea. They married in Lincoln, NE on June 14, 1964. During active duty, he was a proud member of the 101st Airborne Division. Bob continued to serve in the reserves through 1968 where he was promoted to the rank of Captain.

Throughout his life, Bob was very active and loved to stay busy. He said he couldn't understand people that were "bored". Here are some of the things he loved doing: coaching track; competing in Master's track at the local, national and international level; driving his pride and joy - a 2002 yellow T-Bird; serving as Republican precinct officer; working in the yard; working out; reading; watching Cornhusker and Seahawk football, collecting model trains and cars, and many other hobbies.

Bob is survived by his wife, two daughters, siblings William and John Miller, and four grandchildren. Bob was a very devoted and loving husband and father. He was a true patriot and loved his country. His family will miss him dearly.

Bob will be buried at Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery on April 9, 2015 in a private family ceremony.
