Gerard M. Armitage, age 38, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Gerry was born in Seattle on February 10, 1978 to Michael and Patricia Armitage. He was a 1996 graduate of Holy Cross High School now known as Archbishop Murphy High School. He attended Edmonds Community College and Florida Southern University. He trained in the United States Marine Corps following his high school graduation.
His career as a Right of Way agent spanned over 15 years and he traveled across more than 26 states....

Gerry was born in Seattle on February 10, 1978 to Michael and Patricia Armitage. He was a 1996 graduate of Holy Cross High School now known as Archbishop Murphy High School. He attended Edmonds Community College and Florida Southern University. He trained in the United States Marine Corps following his high school graduation.
His career as a Right of Way agent spanned over 15 years and he traveled across more than 26 states. He currently was a Senior Right of Way agent for Contract Land Services based in Houston, Texas. Gerry had an innate ability in problem solving and reaching out to others in a positive way. He lived life through simple pleasures; loved chatting with people, touched people's lives and made many new friends across the country. He enjoyed time fishing, hunting and coaching youth soccer. He volunteered at soup kitchens each holiday season.
He is survived by his mother and her husband, Patricia Armitage and Stephen Maurer; siblings Sean Armitage, Mary (Armitage) Gervais and Emily (Armitage) Tran and their spouses. He leaves his nieces and a nephew, aunts and uncles and their families. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 AM on December 1st at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 2617 Cedar St, Everett, WA with a reception to follow. Graveside service with military honors at 2:00 PM will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Everett.
